Vienna Crown HC Officially join EUCHL

The Vienna Crown college hockey team has officially announced they will join the Division 1 in the European Union College Hockey League in 2026-27.

This program is designed by and for North American players who have been displaced by recent NCAA rule changes, and those who wish to play professional hockey in Europe upon completion of their education.

The Crown will be based out of the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria and players will be enrolled in the top ranked WU Vienna - University of Business and Economics. WU Vienna is recognized as a top 10% university in Management, Marketing and Finance.

Student athletes will immerse themselves in campus life with students from around the world, while living in dorms along with other students. Crown HC players will receive a Division 1 playing experience and opportunity to graduate with credited diplomas in 3 years instead of the traditional American 4 year degrees.

The college experience offered while playing hockey for the Vienna Crown HC will put players in front of professional hockey scouts in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland and Austria.  This program is designed for those student athletes who are serious about their education and option of playing professionally upon graduation.
